This year, we are focussing our Advent Quiet Day on the Jesse Tree. Taking its name from Isaiah 11:1, a Jesse Tree is traditionally a bare branch that holds symbols of people from the Old Testament, Jesus' family tree. We will trace the ancestry of Jesus back through the Old Testament to where it all began in Genesis 1. This quiet day will be led by our Resident Chaplain, Revd Fran Graham.
Amidst the warm glow of candlelight, join us at Launde Abbey for an afternoon of Music and Readings to prepare for the season. We will be immersed in the beauty of scripture and song, and you can stay afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies. A Launde Abbey Fundraising Event.
