In Mark’s Gospel the last days of Jesus before his death were full of debate and turmoil, yet he remains the calm centre in it all. Isn’t this what we need from him today?
This quiet day is an opportunity to prepare ourselves for Holy Week 2021 by prayer and resting in the grace of Christ.
John Rackley is a Baptist who works with the Market Harborough Methodist Circuit and Christchurch LEP, Leicester. He practices spiritual direction for the Leicester and Peterborough dioceses. He is currently writing for the BRF Guidelines and Reflections series.
