As we set out on our pilgrimage through Lent, we will consider Jesus’ life through the image of ‘journey’, his obedience, compassion and suffering, culminating on the cross. In the light of this, we will then examine ourselves and ways in which our lives might be more fully meshed with his, using the same three themes as our pattern as disciples.
Adrian and Jill Chatfield are Anglican priests who have worked in Trinidad, England and South Africa. Most recently, they were on the staff of Ridley Hall Cambridge. There Adrian led the Simeon Centre for Prayer and the Spiritual Life and served as an academic tutor while Jill worked as a pastoral tutor. Since then, they have retired to Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where they love being near wonderful Derbyshire countryside, and enjoy family, hill walking and photography.
