July Quiet Day: A Still Voice Among the Noise [POSTPONED]

6th July 2020, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

£33

[POSTPONED]

Using the method of the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer, we shall explore and experience the Word of God as spoken directly in the Bible. This day will be appropriate both for beginners and those with some experience of contemplative prayer.

There will be 2 structured contemplative sessions, times of more formal prayer and plenty of opportunity to reflect and enjoy the wonderful Launde surroundings. The afternoon will conclude with a eucharist.

Revd. Charles Dobbin is a Canon Emeritus of Leicester Cathedral, and was a team rector in Leeds for 16 years until his retirement to Leicestershire in 2016. He was chaplain of the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer for 9 years during that time, and also chair of Leeds Faiths Forum, receiving an MBE for services to community cohesion.
