Growing into Retirement (for newly retired clergy and spouses)
10th November, 3:00 pm to 12th November, 4:30 pm
A residential retreat for clergy and their spouses who have retired in the past three years, led jointly by Launde Abbey and the Dioceses of Leicester and Peterborough.
The retreat will give you space to consider:
- Your changing identity in moving into retirement
- What it means to lay down ministry, live in the liminal space and what God might be calling you to pick up afresh
- How you relate to God during these changes
There will also be time to enjoy the unique and warm hospitality for which Launde is renowned, to relax with other retreatants and to walk in the gardens.
Please Note: Clergy in the Dioceses of Leicester and Peterborough (or who served their last post there) will be sponsored by their Mission and Ministry Team to attend this retreat.
[10/06/19 update: All available sponsored places for clergy from the Diocese of Peterborough have now been booked.]
For clergy from other dioceses the cost will be £299.00 per person. (There may be similar funding available from individual diocesan Mission and Ministry Teams, which may be worth investigating prior to booking).
