Creative Bible Journaling
28th July, 4:00 pm to 31st July, 4:00 pm£360
We each have an array of ordinary gifts that have the potential to be transformed into the extraordinary. Join us to creatively explore how well God knows us and can change each one of us through our willingness to simply offer the little we have, to Him.
During this Bible based retreat, led by Jackie Thackray and Karen Herrick, we will introduce a variety of ways to use paint, coloured pencils, textiles and other art materials. There will be some input and supportive space to be creative, take risks, listen, reflect more deeply and receive from God. This retreat is for beginners as well as those with some experience of creative journaling. The emphasis will be on allowing the power of God’s gift of creativity and play to draw us closer to Himself, rather than on a polished end product, although that may well happen in the course of the retreat too! All workshop materials will be provided unless you would like to bring your own. You may also like to bring an old tee shirt or apron to protect your clothing.
Jackie Thackray is a licensed lay pioneer minister and leads Bible journaling groups and workshops in churches, homes and coffee shops.
