Meeting room capacities
Launde Abbey has a number of meeting and break-out rooms of different shapes and sizes and our team can advise you on the best configuration for your event.
Theatre style maximises the number of people in the room while Classroom style gives people surfaces for papers and notes. Both are great for presentations and conferences.
Boardroom and Open Boardroom style work well for meetings, allowing surface space for papers and notes while allowing people to see one another as they talk.
Cabaret style and the two Dining styles are useful not only for meals and celebrations but also for meetings and retreats where a ’round table’ style for attendees is desirable.
We can also offer informal Horseshoe and Circle styles for informal gatherings; the capacity of each meeting room in this style is identical with the Boardroom styles.
Not every room works in every style; the list below gives an indication of the maximum numbers possible in each meeting room at Launde in the different styles available for that room.
